Hello! My name is Jessica DelRaso and this will be my eleventh year as a Learning Support Teacher at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School.
Some of you may have already had me as a teacher or you know me from visiting my classroom when you were in second grade. You may also know me from the I.S. Summer Refresher Camp, Camp Invention, or have had me as a tutor in the past.
Prior to working for CV I taught in a fifth and sixth grade Emotional Support classroom at Holy Family Learning Day School in Turtle Creek. I am a 2007 graduate of California University of PA and have a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education.
Some of my hobbies include spending time with my family, especially my son Dominic who just turned one. I also enjoy reading, watching the Steelers and Penguins, cruising the Carribean, and going on walks with my dog, Max. I am looking forward to learning more about all of you!
This year I will be teaching fifth grade ELA and math and working with students in the Life Skills Classroom as well. I am excited for a great school year!
