Safety Committee

The Chartiers Valley School District Safety Committee reviews all aspects of safety throughout the school district, makes recommendations to the administration, and facilitates and/or communicates safety-related information to district constituents. The Safety Committee is comprised of the Safety and Security Coordinator, Director of Facilities and Maintenance, the school police and resource officers, local law enforcement and a minimum of one representative from each building, as well as a representative from each of the following groups: teaching staff, administration, Unit 1, Unit 2, transportation and school nurses. The committee meets monthly, with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
