Safety and Security Committee

The Chartiers Valley School District Safety and Security Committee reviews all aspects of safety throughout the school district, makes recommendations to the administration, and facilitates and/or communicates safety-related information to district constituents. The Safety and Security Committee is comprised of the Safety and Security Coordinator, Director of Facilities and Maintenance, the school resource officers, local law enforcement and a minimum of one representative from each building, as well as other representatives from administration, transportation, and athletics. The committee meets quarterly, with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
