Jason Gardner has served the Chartiers Valley School District for 19 years, including 5 years in his current role as Director of Instructional Technology, Data, and Reporting. Over the course of his tenure, he also held the position of PIMS/Child Accounting Coordinator, playing a critical role in managing student information systems and reporting data to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). A PDE Certified Advanced PIMS Administrator, Mr. Gardner was honored as a finalist for the 2017 Data Governance Award of Excellence.
With a strong foundation in database management and computer programming, Mr. Gardner leverages technology and data to drive student-centered decision-making, support instructional innovation, and promote student achievement throughout the district. He is currently nearing completion of a Master’s degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University, enhancing his capacity to lead in instructional technology and data-driven educational practices.
Mr. Gardner earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University, where he was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he contributes to the school community as an assistant coach for the Varsity Track and Field and Middle School Cross Country teams. He and his family are proud residents of the Chartiers Valley School District.
