Welcome to CV Cyber!

Students interested in enrolling in CV Cyber for the start of the 2022-2023 school year are strongly encouraged to do so by August 1, 2022.  Students may only transition  into or out of CV Cyber at the start of each semester.

Students have the choice of either fully-remote or blended (a mix of in-person and remote) learning. Blended students attend some courses in-person while completing other courses online, allowing families to customize a flexible schedule that works best for their student.

Chartiers Valley Cyber Academy utilizes two different online platforms.  At the secondary level (Middle and High Schools), Educere's Founders Education is utilized.  Educere's course offerings align to Chartiers Valley's courses and provides an on-demand certified PA teacher between the hours of 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM Monday-Friday.  The on-demand teacher interacts virtually with students through an interactive whiteboard and chat feature.  There is an option for call-in support also.  Educere's program is fully virtual with videos, activities, presentations, and assignments and offers varied levels of coursework from essentials to AP level courses.  

At the elementary level (Primary and Intermediate Schools), Waterfront Learning's Accelerate Education program is utilized.  This engaging platform has videos, interactive activities, and assignments for students. In addition, student workbooks are provided for the core subject areas of Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.  A Waterfront Learning PA certified teacher is available during Office Hours or via email.  Students at the elementary level, also have Physical Education all year long, health the first semester, and art the second semester.  

**Enrollment for the Cyber Academy is currently closed for the second semester of the 2022-2023 School Year.  Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year will open in May.**
