CVMS named 2017 Mix It Up Model School Mix It Up Model School badge

Chartiers Valley Middle School has been named a 2017 Mix It Up Model School by the Teaching Tolerance organization.

Robotics team advances to First Robotics World Championship in St. Louis Team Horsepower

Chartiers Valley Robotics Team Horsepower #4991 advanced through the Greater Pittsburgh Regional Event at California University of Pennsylvania on March 17-18 to earn as spot in the First Robotics Competition World Championship in St. Louis.

IS and MS music students perform with PYPO CV PYPO performers

Instrumental music students from Chartiers Valley Middle and Intermediate Schools had a great musical experience, participating in the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (PYPO) Prelude Festival.

Alex Evans honored at Pens Game Alex Evans

Senior forward Alex Evans was honored at a Penguins game in February after being named PIHL Class A Player of the Month for January.

CVIS families participate in Family Math Night Family Math Night

Intermediate School families participated in various exciting math games that covered many different topics at the 2nd Annual Family Math Night on March 1.

Girls Basketball brings home WPIAL Gold WPIAL 5A Girls Basketball Champions

The girls basketball team defeated Oakland Catholic 52-36 in the 5A championship game at Peterson Events Center on March 4, 2017 for the program's first WPIAL title.
