There are nine members of the Chartiers Valley Board of School Directors -- each one is elected by the community. Once elected, Board Members serve four-year terms. Collectively, the Board of School Directors is responsible for hiring and evaluating the superintendent. In addition, the Board votes to have the final say on school matters, including academics & student achievement, human capital, and finance & support operations. * Director Jamie Stevenson resigned his seat in August 2017. The position will be filled by general election in November or by Board nomination if no additional candidates file for the election ballot.
