The Intermediate School PTG arranged for the Pittsburgh CLO to perform ¡Arriba ¡Arriba! The Roberto Clemente Story at an assembly in late January. The CLO original musical details the life of Pirates Hall of Famer and humanitarian Roberto Clemente and pays tribute to how his selfless acts still influence people 45 years after his tragic death.
The Pittsburgh CLO’s Gallery of Heroes program combines musical theater and history to educated students about famous historical figures, advancements and inventions that all originated in the Pittsburgh area. This program puts an exciting spin on traditional lectures by highlighting the accomplishments of significant historical figures in a live on stage production.
