Dear Members of the Chartiers Valley Community:
As announced last evening, Dr. Brian White has accepted the Superintendent position with the Butler Area School District. On behalf of the Chartiers Valley Board of School Directors, we want to thank Dr. White for his dedication and leadership over the past seven years. His tireless efforts have taken our district to new heights and he will be missed. We wish him much success in his new leadership role.
The School Board has confidence that his parting will not stop the momentum that has been created. Our administrators, teachers and staff, along with our students, parents and community members are prepared to take the next steps and continue to move our district forward. The School Board will continue to support all efforts to create an environment of academic success for the children in our community.
The School Board has begun the process to address the selection of an interim Superintendent and embark on a robust search process for ultimately identifying the next Superintendent of the Chartiers Valley School District.
We have an exciting future in the Chartiers Valley School District. I am proud to be a part of it!
Tony Mazzarini Jr., President
Chartiers Valley Board of School Directors
