Mrs. Julianna White's seventh grade Computer Applications class traveled to the Primary School on May 5th to share children's stories which they had edited from Google Docs into mini book form. The seventh graders worked diligently to select stories and edit text size and color as well as add illustrations and an activity page to make the stories more appealing to young readers. The MS editors spread out among 10 Primary School classrooms to read their selected short stories, poems, and comics and have a group discussion. In addition to discussing the literature that was shared, the MS students explained their role as editors. The seventh graders also led the classroom they visited through a "Create Your Own Story" activity page at before departing. Each Primary School student also received their own copy of the mini book.
